I am a Technical Communicator and aspiring UX Designer set to graduate in May 2025 with a degree in Writing, Design, and Technical Communication with a certificate in UX Design. With a background of over 20 years working as an educator, I have a wide perspective of user needs and have the ability to effectively modify, catering to each individual’s strengths and environment. To date, I have enjoyed working with UX Research and conducting usability testing to improve pain points experienced on web sites across various genres.

I have also taken particular interest in research surrounding artificial intelligence and user experience research using qualitative and quantitative data. Some of my course highlights include Information Design, User Experience Research, User Experience Design, and Instructional Design. 

My passion is Creative Writing through songwriting, poetry, and fiction. My personal project wish list includes publishing a book of poetry, building a world for my fictional novel series, and writing songs to complete my album. 

I am currently employed as a Product Manager at IBM. My skill set includes managing large groups, collaborating with team members, and executing long-term projects. I have experience using inclusive design practices and have a love for working with those of diverse backgrounds. I am also proficient across many disciplines of genres of text, and have extreme attention to detail, creating documentation that is clear and easy to digest.
